Dexter liked to read about adventures but he really never expected to have one until the night of October 30, 1938 when our world was invaded...through the airwaves! This is a novel of "Historic Fiction" which is aimed at a younger crowd, although the author hopes not to limit his audience too much. The story is full of details as to what life would have been like for a youngster in 1938 and how radio affected the every day comings and goings of an American family in the mid west.
