For this third volume of Devotions from an Air Force Chaplain we selected sermons related to answering the question "Why do we need the Church?" This is a question that has presented itself in various forms over the last year. Other questions also keep popping up to like: Why is church attendance down? Why do you attend church? Do we really need to be involved in the church? Why can't I just stay home the Lord's day? All of these questions and more are addressed in this volume. As you may already know, worshiping God is very important to Him. Reading the sermons (devotions) is one part of worship. The other part is making a joyful noise. This is why we selected a hymn to go along with each section of the devotional book to help in your worship.
