Deutsch Zusammen provides an emphasis on creative language use and genuine communication in the classroom beginning on day one. This valuable and class-tested resource will help students learn to speak German that is both reasonably fluent, spontaneous and accurate, both grammatically and culturally, and easily understood by a native speaker of German. Each vocabulary section is followed by an interactive activity for meaningful vocabulary practice. The vocabulary is presented around a theme, but also selected for maximum personalized use by students. Each chapter contains at least one listening or reading with pre-, during, and post activities that are done in class with guidance by the professor. Notes on culture, language, political situation and geography are explored throughout the text.
