Many students will be expected to use a desktop publishing (DTP) system when they go out to work. This book provides them with a series of intermediate level practice material in preparation for RSA, PEI and SCOTVEC exams. It may be used with any DTP system, as the text is not software specific. It provides a bank of material to use with a variety of classes. It also allows students to check their final product to reinforce their learning.;Only the first four assignments need to be keyed in. Thereafter the operator is required to make changes to the layout and type specifications as instructed. Other instructions include: scanning graphics into a file and placing them in documents; preparation of portrait and landscape documents; preparation of advertising brochures; and forms, tables, pie and bar charts.
