Die neue Gewißheit der Er kenntnis, die hier waltete, die neuen Begriffe und Methoden galt es philosophisch zu begreifen. Diese Aufgabe sprengte den Rahmen der alten aristotelisch-scholastischen Philosophie und führte zu der philosophischen Entwicklung, deren Höhepunkt wir im transzen dentalen Idealismus Kants erblicken.
