The goddess Demeter is loved by all for her warmth and bounty. But no one is closer to Demeter's own heart than her beautiful daughter, Persephone. When Persephone disappears one day, Demeter searches everywhere. She discovers that Persephone was kidnapped by Hades, the god of the underworld. Demeter is filled with sorrow, and a permanent winter falls on the land. Can Demeter rescue her daughter from the Underworld?
