This book is a reprint of a vintage report that discusses concepts of crewed spaceflights, involving the space shuttle and station, for demonstrating the technology required for servicing Orbital Transfer Vehicles (OTVs). It is the Technical Report, Volume 2 of a report entitled "Definition of Technology Development Missions for Early Space Station: Orbit Transfer Vehicle Servicing," originally published in 1983, and submitted to NASA by the Convair Division of General Dynamics. About 50 pages long and only a few illustrations. This report is reprinted for historical and research purposes only. It is Volume 7 of a new series of reprints from Mooncat Collectibles called "Space Dreams of the 1980s." Each reprinted report focuses on an aspect of space transportation architecture (space infrastructure) as imagined during the 1980s.
