This is a story of three men, the end of the world as we know it and their parts in it. He turns to using his wealth and power to a carry out a long term plan for revenge. Man 3 - young and alone he buries himself in his work after his wife dies in a tragic accident for which he blames himself. Book interior - first page - On 9/11/2001 the United States suffered the worst terrorist attack in its two hundred twenty five year history. September 20, 2001. President George W. Bush declares War on Terror. The first time a physical war has been declared on a concept. October 2008. The U.S. has been in Iraq over six years for reasons many believe are other than its stated reasons for being there for no Weapons of Mass Destruction have ever been found. It is also very deeply involved in Afghanistan where its stated mission is to fight terrorist and terrorism while to some, it is actually fighting a civil war. Its use of drones as weapons of war is not limited to recognized combat zones. They are being used against any target almost anywhere. Its relations with Iran are bad and getting worse. Saber rattling looks to be pointing towards a showdown that many fear will lead to a third war in the area. In the Muslim world it is feared that the U.S. is not leading a campaign against terrorism, but against them. Many around the world, including those within the U.S. feel that while the stated goal is to 'Stamp out Terrorism', the United States of America has become the biggest terrorist of them all. This is the story of how the Muslim Brotherhood through its financial and political connections fought the great Satan and sorta won.
