Publisher's Synopsis

Women have been victims of social injustices for years, and this situation has a psychological and physical impact on them. This is mainly due to the negative norms of culture and society, which consider the male sex as superior to hers, and to the stereotyped representations of the individuals around her, which have become negative cultural prejudices that generate conflicts and denigration of women. This inequality of the sexes has led activists, media, nations, international organizations, etc. to reflect on how to allow women to regain their freedom and become equal to men. And this is the case of the magazine Femme, produced and broadcasted by B-One TV, which is our field of analysis; thanks to the interventions of women themselves about this issue, this program has, in fact, allowed to give a new image of women, through the broadcasting, the propagation and the propaganda of women and their rights, by making women known differently, but also by encouraging them by creating a relationship of closeness, of trust between them (media and audience).
