Things become violent when Jack and Murphy re-visit the crime scene. Jack is left for dead, and Murphy goes into a coma. Despite the cover-up, Jack continues below police radar with the help Reilly a police superintendent, another former colleague. Further investigation brings Jack McQueen and his PI business partner Stacie Machado squarely in the sights of rival mobsters, and unsavory enemies from his past. Jack needs to separate the lies from the truth and render justice without getting the people he cares about injured or killed.
