De Edelmoedige Vyanden: Blyspel (1659) is een komedie geschreven door Joannes Blasius. Het verhaal speelt zich af in het Brabantse platteland en gaat over twee edelmoedige vijanden, namelijk de rijke boer Jan en de arme boer Klaas. Jan is bereid om Klaas te helpen met zijn financi�����le problemen, maar Klaas weigert deze hulp uit trots. Uiteindelijk worden de rollen omgedraaid en moet Jan de hulp van Klaas accepteren. Het stuk behandelt thema's als trots, edelmoedigheid en sociale klasse.
