Ibn Hanhal trat seine Reisen im J. 331 (943) an, und fing im J. 866 oder 367. (also etwa 977) seine Beschreibung an, so dass also [sz hchri jedenfalls spltcr als 943 und früher als 977 geschrieben haben muss. Dass diese Zeitbestimmung nicht nur im Allgemeinen richtig sei, sondern sich auch noch in engere Grinsen ziehen lasse, ergibt sich aus folgenden Stellen.
