Publisher's Synopsis
It's 1941, and Laura Jakes, secretary to Colonel William Jorgenson in the War department is no ordinary secretary. For eight years she has been working undercover for the United States War department spying on her step-father, Laurence McKettrick who was in Adolf Hitler's Elite and now eight years later, she has been requested to return to Berlin to bring out two United States agents and important information that the agents were supposed to bring out. Laura knows her life is being put on the line once again but that is not what worries her. Adolf Hitler and Foreign Minister Joachim von Ribbontrop know who she is. Laura does not know if Hitler still believes that she is Laurence McKettrick's widow or if Ribbontrop is still protecting her. Only time will tell if Laura remains safe in Berlin.
