Publisher's Synopsis
A family gathers in the great hall to celebrate, we don't know what, with dried bread and jugs of water. One by one Mary's children inexplicably leave the floor to dance on tables. The few others who try fail to gain access. A retrospective of Mary's long life begins that incorporates her progeny and leads into the present. She is full of regret and prays for God's light to deliver her. In the meantime it becomes her destiny to reunite her son with his two dead children. When a golden spirit rises it inspires!
