Inspired by Spanish poet Lorca, flamenco, Brazilian, and NYC Irish, Latin, and African-American "diversity" cultures, DANCER FROM BRAZIL is an emotional, female-driven, passionate romantic-thriller set in the Bahia-Brazil, Broadway, and Seville-Spain dance worlds about Lara, a brilliant, young and beautiful Brazilian dancer escaping a bad marriage, embarking on a highly dangerous quest for love and fame, which will jeopardize her life, and force her to rise triumphant over unexpected tragedy. Integrated into this love story, are elements of danger, suspense, violence, moments of dark humor, and a universal inspirational theme of: regardless the setbacks and obstacles that test our characters, we must never give up on achieving our dreams.
