Dear readers, The document you are about to read is a Master II thesis in Media Communication. It studies the impact of community radio in the field of local development. The setting for this study is the Dabakh FM school radio station in Tivaouane. The author is a community radio journalist. He has been the director of Dabakh FM since its creation in 2017.Community radio is very present in Senegal. Unfortunately, there aren't many studies that seek to assess its impact on communities with a common territory, history and interests. This is the purpose of this research, which aims to demonstrate that community radio is a strategic lever for local development, insofar as it creates a framework for exchange around the concerns of local communities for the formulation, formalization and implementation of solutions adapted to endogenous realities.
