La misma regla la esplica Thurnevsen diciendo que ya en latin las formas del verbo esse se podian agregar en calidad de encl�ticos a la primera palabra de la proposicion. Esta co locacion posible pero no obligatoria en latin, se jeneraliz� en romance. Al verbo estre se asoci� el verbo avoir, i al fin, la regla gramatical establecida para los verbos auxiliares, por la fuerza de la analojia lleg� a abarcar todos los verbos. Sin embargo, su valor no alcanz� a ser absoluto. Se conserv� siempre la posibilidad de colocar el verbo en primer lugar i esta pr�ctica ri je particularmente en algunas frases que cons tan de dos componentes: dist Oliviers.
