Publisher's Synopsis
The famed investigators known as The Riders of Nelsbree have been called to the scene of the latest murder. They've sent two of their finest, Aton and Thadius. Local authorities are having no luck and the victims are coming like clockwork. Gruesome deaths occur regularly, one every seven days. Evidence ties them loosely together but the victims are seemingly unrelated and the chain of deaths makes no sense to anyone. As Aton and Thadius begin their investigation the murderer strikes again and closer. Their culprit is right under their noses, yet nowhere to be found. The unstable political state of the country means these incidents could cause serious disruption and panic if word spreads too fast before they are ended. Rumblings of the supernatural and stories of monsters threaten to escalate. The serial killer must be stopped at all costs. The Riders are led on a chase as they try to find a way to staunch the trail of bodies lining the path of their murderer. Can they put an end to his games before he sends the masses into an uproar?
