This year's volume of collected papers in the Current Legal Problems series contains the now customary selection of high-quality essays by a group of outstanding scholars. For family lawyers there will be much of interest in the papers by John Eekelaar and Dame Brenda Hale both of whom adopt a bird's-eye view of family law. These are all powerful and original essays which will be of lasting interest to a wide range of readers.
