At the General Assembly held at Birmingham, Ala., in 1916, I had the honor of being Chairman of the Judiciary Committee of that body. Many matters of importance were referred to this Committee, and there was much time wasted because there was no Digest of the deliverances of the General Assembly, since the one compiled by Rev. J.
