STEM evaluation has always been important, given the issuesfacing public schools and the economic and social considerations ofSTEM fields. But because these fields today face a variety ofconcerns, this discussion of STEM evaluation is particularlytimely. Evaluation advances may contribute to STEM fields byhelping programs address the challenges they face.
