It was early 2016 when her husband had started to show signs of rheumatoid arthritis and by the end of 2016 his condition worsened so much that he was dependent upon people for almost everything. The pain grew so much that he became bedridden. This made him give up on life. Being Diabetologist himself he knew the intricacies of the disease and told his wife that he will not be the same again. But, Ranjini was determined to get her husband back on his feet. She tried different things.
