Non sarà forse discaro ai lettori che alle lettere del Giberto faccia seguito una di Bal dassare Castiglione al Trivulzio medesimo diretta da Vagliadolid all'occasione appunto del sacco di Roma, come pure del Trivulzio al Pontefice in tempo della prigionia che sostenne come ostaggio dato da Clemente a Cesare con quella grandezza d'animo che ad ognuno è nota.
