Publisher's Synopsis
Los Angeles, 1949 -- Danny Boy is living the good life: he's an accountant with high-powered clients like mobster Mickey Cohen, a supportive wife, a hot mistress, a regular table at the Pacific Seas, free reign to gamble at Ciro's, and a network of contacts who constantly feed him valuable information that he uses to the advantage of his clients and friends. Then, one day, his contacts run cold. They're surprised to see him, and afraid to be seen with him. Finally, he gets the word from the street: someone wants him dead. But Danny Boy is not the type to lay down and wait for it to happen. No, he's going to beat the bushes for the killer and if he has to bust a few heads and break a few hearts along the way, so be it.
