In doing this I have adopted a simple method of spelling, in which every letter must be pronounced, so that words are kept as short as possible and the use of long words, difficult to remember, is obviated.
Then again, by repeating the values of the vowels on each page, committing them to memory becomes almost mechanical, and accurate pronunciation should soon be acquired.
