Publisher's Synopsis
Our world and lives unfold around us at an often blisteringly fast pace, and we are left to make something out of it if we can. Control is one of the many mechanisms that allows us to function from day to day. It is also the mechanism by which politicians, corporations, and even our parents and teachers guide us through life. Our ideas, our thoughts, our emotions, and our actions influence and affect the level of control we have both internally and externally. Learning about the different environments in which we are able to exercise control and how our environments can be controlled might give us the ability to understand the world, and ourselves a little better.
