Les notes suivantes pr�sentent une partie des r�sultats aux quels m'ont conduit des recherches prolong�es sur le fran cais en usage chez les Juifs du moyen �ge. On a reconnu depuis longtemps que les textes rabbiniques sont importants pour l'�tude de l'ancien fran�ais. Le d�sir de les appr�cier sous ce rapport m'a amen� � examiner les gloses fran�aises qui se trouvent dans les �crits non - bibliques post�rieurs � Raschi (1040 Je me suis occup� surtout du Mahzar Vitry, ouvrage rituel datant, au moins en partie, du XII si�cle, dont il existe des manuscrits in�dits � New - York et � Oxford.
