Excluding mere technical abbreviations, like DM 'dolus malus, ' which would not be likely to occur in a ms. Of a Latin Classic, I offer, as a supplement of my lists in Parts II. And III., the follow ing list of some Notae Juris, which may have played apart in the transmission of our classical texts (a contraction-stroke may usually be supposed to have stood over the symbol in mss.)
