It begins with the "Estatuto de Bayona" (Bayonne Statute) imposed by the French in 1808 and continues with the"Constitucion politica de la Monarquia Española" (Political Constitution of the Spanish Monarchy), the first independent constitution of Spain, which was drawn up in Cadiz in 1812.
