Publisher's Synopsis
Excerpt from Constitution, by-Laws, Manual of the Lodge, Forms of Documents: Adopted June 14, 1911 by the Grand Lodge, Ancient Free and Accepted Masons of Oregon
It has been the purpose of the Committee on Revision of the Constitution and By - Laws of the Grand Lodge to put into compilation the laws, rules and regulations of Masonry that seemed to us best suited to our modern environment, losing sight at no time of the cardinal prin ciples, but keeping ever in view the progress of the times, and adaptation to growth. To this end, we have availed ourselves of copies of the Constitution and by-laws of the Grand Lodge of almost every State and Territory in the Union and of the District of Columbia, and have found them of invaluable aid and assistance. We wish, there fore, to express our profound acknowledgment to these Grand Jurisdictions for the courtesies extended in that behalf.
