This book explains the levels that a Jew can obtain during the High Holy Days in the Jewish calander. It starts with the month before Rosh HaShana (referred to as the month of Elul). In the month of Elul the King (G-d) is in the field. This means that any person can go out and greet him and come close to Him. This then is followed by Rosh HaShana where we all go back to His palace and proclaim that we want You G-d to be our King.There is then 10 days of rectifying our deeds and than on Yom Kipper we are forgiven and we are one with G-d. This is followed by days of rejoicing where we are joyful to be one with G-d and we proclaim this to the world for seven days. This is the holiday of Succos. This is then followed that on the last two days (eight and nine) we celebrate this spirital unity among ourselves in our synagogues with festive prayers and dancing. This is the holiday of Simchas Torah This prepares us for the entire next year that we know and feel our connection to G-d. This all happens in the Jewish month of Tishri
