Combined heat and power(CHP) has always offered a cost-effective and reliable way of serving industry's energy requirements, while minimizing the impact of energy use on the environment. Recently, however, technological and market innovations have vastly increased the flexibility of CHP, allowing many more companies to take advantage of this. As the world is preparing for new targets in emmission reduction, CHP offers an opportunity to combine an improved environment with greater competitiveness.
