Publisher's Synopsis
Excerpt from Concurrent Resolution on the Budget for Fiscal Year 1995, Vol. 1 of 2: Hearings Before the Committee on the Budget, United States Senate, One Hundred Third Congress, Second Session
I want to give my own summary of how the deficit came down, but I don't want to deny our Chairman or the President the pleas ure of talking about everything that was done. The Democratic leadership here would take credit for a lot of things and so would the President, and I just want to give you a little bit of realism.
