Publisher's Synopsis
The Amharic language of Ethiopia, stemming from the word "Amhara" meaning "free people" in the Ge'ez language, is indigenous to Ethiopia and is more or less a more developed form of Ge'ez, the oldest spoken and written language of what we call Africa. Today, more than ever I believe that it is imperative to study this language, and more especially the Ge'ez, in order to reclaim a Holy inheritance. Ethiopia is the only country of the continent of "Africa" that was never colonized and to make it more outstanding, this is also the first Christian nation. Explore this language with me, as we journey among the "free people".
