The principal objective of this volume is to present a collection of ideas from engineers and scientists of the Asia-Pacific region in the fields of computational engineering. The contributors originate from over ten countries in the Pan-Pacific region including Australia, China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Russia, Singapore, and USA. Up-to-date research results are encompassed by this volume, reflecting the current activities of researchers in the region.
