All existing provisions of these laws, that are now in Operation in the State, have been care fully preserved in the text, and, to avoid confusion and misconception, care has been taken to exclude therefrom all sections, paragraphs and clauses of the statutes that have been modified or repealed by subsequent enactments. In this compilation appear the Act to Regulate Public Education in the State Of Louisiana, and to raise Revenue for the support of the same, N O. 6 of extra session of 1870, and all.
