Publisher's Synopsis
The role of communication as a key component of the human day to day experience cannot be put to question. This is justified by the simple fact that, naturally, one of the skills that a child is exposed to very early in life, is the ability to communicate. The skills that are imparted to a child at this stage are usually basic, raw, unpolished and are usually a result of the immediate environment. Therefore, it is important for one to continue learning to communicate, all the way up to adulthood, in a clearer, more confident and effective manner, even outside the confines of the environment one grew up in, until he has conscious mastery of the skills. The importance of one being an effective communicator is often underestimated, yet it can easily be the difference between you building or breaking up something. However, there is no 'one size fits all' approach to effective communication. The circumstances in which one communicates always differ, but despite the differences in context, it is always important that you drive your communication home with the desired effect, and that you do not misconstrue what is communicated to you in turn, which is what this handbook hopes to guide you through.
