Publisher's Synopsis

Jake Hunter is poised on the edge of true villainous greatness. With three of the six Core Power pendants in his possession he is about to unlock a mighty power: gravity control. With this awesome power at his fingertips nobody will be able to stop him from toppling the Foundation and Council of Evil once and for all. Getting the remaining pendants will be tough, two of them are guarded by the leaders of the Hero Foundation and the Council of Evil. Only Leech, a dying hero, knows where the last pendant is and he is not telling unless he gets something in return. But the Dark Hunter is not the only one after Core Powers-a young team from Forge, under the leadership of Pete, has started searching for them as well. To make matters worse, Jake finds himself face-to-face with Lorna, his ex girlfriend [who also happens to be a hero], and tough decisions need to be made. As Jake's ascent to power continues-so do the risks. He accidentally puts the moon on a collision course with the earth. It's a cataclysmic event that will fracture the planet in two. Jake is playing a high-stakes game with the world. How far is he willing to go to complete his plans?
