No me pareci� esta aventura el mejor aguero para el resto del viaje. Veia que aun no estaba en Salamanca, y que me podian suceder otras peores. Pareci�me que mi tio habia andado poco prudente en no haberme entregado a algun arriero. Esto era sin duda lo que debiera haber hecho; pero le parec�a que d�ndome su mula gastaria menos en el viaje; lo cual le hizo mas fuerza que la consideracion de los peligros a que me expon�a. Para reparar esta falta determin� vender mi mula en Pe�aflor, si tenia la dicha de llegar a aquel lugar, y ajustarmo con un arriero hasta Astorga, haciendo lo mismo con otro desde Astorga a Salamanca. Aunque nunca habia salido de Oviedo, sabia los nombres de todos los lugares por donde habia de pasar, habi�ndome informado de ellos antes de ponerme en camino.
