Era mi ánimo no proseguir en tan ingrato trabajo, y dar ya por terminada la coleccion. Un deber de amistad es el que me obliga a emprender la impresion del tercer tomo, que irá ocupado por entero con la Historia Eclesiástica Indiana, del Padre Fray Gerónimo de Mendieta: obra importante, que hasta ahora se habia creido enteramente perdida.
