Publisher's Synopsis
"What are the Odds?" The author presents twelve stories from his life that you can believe or choose not to believe. The most recent one occurred when his bed number in the hospital with 716 rooms was the same exact number as his street address of "9322." In one story, he received an unexpected surprise package in the mail box from Ireland on the same day he attended a bishop's funeral whose body will be sent back to Ireland for burial. In another story, his wife and six young children can't wait for their Daddy to come home after he has been away for over six months. For some unknown reason, the mother just happened to turn the TV on a Sunday morning and there was Daddy on a local cutaway that the network decided to broadcast nationally. In living color, the happy family saw Daddy 1500 miles away! And, what were the chances a total stranger would tell him about the Shroud of Turin and the author would then see the Shroud three times and write books about it? Dr. Bruno Barberis shared this with the author. After he had computer generated the probability of the Shroud based on seven different aspects being someone other than Jesus, the probability of the man of the Shroud being someone other than Jesus Christ was estimated at: one in 200 billion. Talk about odds!
