Publisher's Synopsis
I was born on a dog farm in South Korea, and I escaped from the meat market. Canadians adopted me. I am so happy living in Canada with my new adopted parents, who love me unconditionally.
In my book of pictures, I share my stories about my travel to Canada, staying in a foster home and then being adopted. My book can be read by 5 - 10 years old, and even grandmothers will enjoy reading with their grandchildren.I live in a beautiful home and enjoy all the seasons in Canada, though my favourite is winter when I get to play in the snow. When my dad returns home from purchasing groceries, I run to the door when he opens it, and I smell all the bags of goodies he brings inside and makes sure that everything is safe. My parents smile and say I am checking just like an immigration officer.
I understood only the Korean language on my arrival in Canada. I am eager to learn more English every day. I do understand some of the commands I am given such as go out the back Codi to make a 'pee'. Sometimes I think my mom said 'go out the back with your toy'
