Val, middle brother of the Santino family, has had enough. Constantly living in his elder brothers shadow in everything: the love of a girl, the respect of his younger brother, the family mafia, all of it. Now watching as his older brother and the girl he once liked get engaged, he wants nothing more than to blow it all up and hopefully have something for himself.
Noa's life has always revolved around her work, so when she is sent to a new branch and forced to work with a smart mouthed and sarcastic know-it-all genius for her cover, she is none too thrilled. Is it too much to ask that her job be completed in one piece without the added problem of a Santino butting into her business?
Now both of them are thrown together once more as they descend into the dark world of Karma, a terrorist group, looking to expose those they believe need to face justice for their wrong-doings that everyone else has overlooked. Both Val and Noa believe that there are those who need to be outed to the world, but are they willing to go so far as to ruin the lives of those around themselves in the process?
