Publisher's Synopsis
Lloyd Marshall was suddenly awakened early from his much needed rest one winter morning. Lloyd was the Night Shift's Lead Supervisor for M.S.S. Security at Tri-City Memorial Hospital, one of the busiest Trauma Centers in Southern California. Thinking that this was just another busy night at the office, Lloyd headed into work not knowing he was about to experience a huge awakening. Young Michael Sparks Jr, a 20 year old gun shot victim from Mt. Tech gets flown to Tri-City Memorial by Helicopter. Michael's daddy issues had lead him to join a local gang that eventually ended with his visit to the emergency room. Trying to survive the gun shot wound and unexpected health concerns was the least of his problems. His father's old gang has some unfinished business and wanted to send a message through young Mike. This message would bring a whirlwind of problems to the already hectic Trauma Center. Lloyd and his Security staff try their best to survive the night while keeping the staff, visitors and patients safe. Using his wisdom and many years of training, Lloyd tries to bring peace to a distraught Sparks family as well as combat the life threatening situations that evades his place of work. As the night progresses, the dangers get more serious and only God knows how this night will end.
