This is the new edition of the Colour Atlas of Heart Disease, published in 1990. The book has been completely revised and now has an American senior editor. It now contains more than 700 illustrations covering pathology and all the latest investigative techniques appropriate to each pathological condition. The section on the principles of management is completely new.
Each section and subsection is arranged in two parts. The first part comprises the text with the illustrations printed in the margins. These allow the user to quickly review the material contained within the section. In the second part, each illustration is reproduced in a large, full colour format, accompanied by detailed notes and fully annotated line diagrams.
