Classical Guitar Playing Grade Six (LCM)

This is part of a progressive series of ten handbooks, primarily intended for candidates considering taking the London College of Music examinations in classical guitar playing. Each handbook covers all the material needed for each examination, and includes helpful advice about preparing for the examination, enabling you to gain an internationally recognised qualification. Even if you do not intend to take an examination, given each handbook's wide content of musical repertoire and extensive educational material, the series provides a structured, comprehensive course for studying the classical guitar. Studying the handbooks should help you to: develop all aspects of your playing; extend your musical repertoire with pieces from a wide range of styles and periods; improve your sight reading and aural abilities so that you can learn pieces more easily; and increase your knowledge of music theory by learning about the historical context of the pieces you are playing.
