My only authority for making the three brothers of the Isles of Shoals sons of Capt. Robert, is that they might have been drawn East from Watertown, Mass, to the rocky Isles then bustling with enterprise and profit, but only inviting to young unmarried men who could rough it, while their father was drawn to the more domestic surroundings of Connecticut.
