Publisher's Synopsis
This series is based on the expert research of the Institute of World Economy and Politics (IWEP), a thinktank in China and part of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences based in Beijing. Their studies provide intimate analyses into various aspects of Chinese economics and politics. Each volume in the series features material culled from the bimonthly 'China and World Economy', an IWEP journal, as well as original research findings of IWEP experts. This volume examines foreign direct investment (FDI) in China, establishing a Free Trade Area (FTA) between China, South Korea and Japan, China's macroinstitutional policies, the reform of Chinese state-owned enterprises (SOE),regional disparities, and online securities trading in China.
