I'm excited to have historian Cheryl Bruno on the show. Cheryl is coming out with a new book on Masons and Mormons called "Method Infinite" by Greg Kofford Books. The LDS Temple endowment ceremony was modeled on masonic ceremonies. Masons will notice many similarities between masonic ceremonies and LDS temple ceremonies, but it is important to remember that there are significant differences as well. We're going to talk about these early foundations and Joseph Smith's exposure to masonic practices. Please note this conversation was recorded last fall, and Cheryl says that publication was expected for May 2020.
