Excerpt from Charter, Ordinances and by-Laws of the College of Physicians of Philadelphia
The College was instituted in January, 1787, and incorporated in March, 1789; the Ordinances and by-laws were revised and finally adopted July, 1840; since which time various additions and amend ments have been made to them, all of which are incorporated in the present revised editou. Approved, November 1851.
